๐จ๐๐ง๐ฅ๐๐๐จ๐๐ฅ๐โข : experimental application for the Moselle departmental council
Every day, the Moselle Department (North East of France) does its utmost to ensure the maintenance, operation and management of the departmental road network in order to facilitate the mobility of Moselle users and to reinforce the attractiveness of the territory.
The President of the Moselle Departmental Council, Mr Patrick WEITEN, contacted us following an article on our innovation ๐จ๐๐ง๐ฅ๐๐๐จ๐๐ฅ๐™ published in the press indicating his interest in carrying out an experimental application.
Several sites were proposed by the department's Road Service headed by Ms HILT, but it was the RD662 between Petit Réderching and Siersthal in the Pays de Bitche that was finally chosen for its sinuosities, curves and traffic.
The SOLOSAR teams applied several hundred linear metres of highly reflective coating to existing A-profile guardrails with motorcycle protection system on several sections, in curves and with significant gradients.
โก๏ธ ๐จ๐๐ง๐ฅ๐๐๐จ๐๐ฅ๐™ is applied to all types of steel guardrails, single or double wave, and concrete guardrails at critical road locations (curves, intersections, etc. ) in order to make them more visible at night and thus help motorists to drive more safely and serenely.
โก๏ธ ๐จ๐๐ง๐ฅ๐๐๐จ๐๐ฅ๐™ allows for dual effectiveness during the day and at night by creating a three-dimensional visibility of the road profile. This improved perception allows for better visibility of curves and obstacles before entering the road and significantly improves the safety of road users.
We hope that the feedback will be positive and that this innovation will be extended to other roads in Moselle to ensure maximum safety for all road users, day and night and in all weather conditions.
